  MORNING TOURS OF JSC
7:00 a.m.

 Nominees and their guests staying at the Houston Hyatt Regency meet in lobby and then board buses. Note: You have to attend the tour to take the Hyatt buses to the luncheon. This is because the buses move from the tours at JSC directly to the Hilton near JSC for the luncheon. JSC is over 25 miles away from the Hyatt.
7:15 a.m. Buses proceed from Houston Hyatt Regency to Space Center Houston
7:45 a.m. Local JSC-area nominees and guests meet buses at Space Center Houston to join tours

Buses are required for transportation of all nominees and their guests during the morning tours of JSC. After the tours, local JSC-area nominees and guests will be dropped off at the Space Center Houston to retrieve their cars prior to the luncheon
8:00-11:15 a.m. JSC tours may include:

  • International Space Station Flight Control Viewing Room
  • Apollo Era Mission Operations Control Center
Space Vehicle Mockup Facility, Building 9, Visitor Observation Gallery
  • International Space Station Trainers
  • Russian Soyuz Trainer
  • Orion Medium Fidelity Trainer
  • Robotics
Sonny Carter Training Facility: Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory
  • Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory
Please note that there are 3 buses (total, including one carrying local Clear Lake-area nominees) that will be used to tour all of the above locations concurrently, so the order of your tour will depend on which bus you are on.
11:15 a.m. Buses will be leaving the tour sometime between 11:20 - 11:45 a.m. to go to the luncheon. Buses stop at Space Center Houston to drop off escorts and local nominees and guests, and then buses proceed to luncheon at Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake
  LUNCHEON AT Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake, HOSTED BY THE RNASA FOUNDATION
Luncheon registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and lunchtime speakers will begin at noon. It is recommended to arrive at the luncheon between 11:30-11:45 a.m. in order to be situated and begin eating.

2:30 p.m. Buses depart Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake to proceed to the Houston Hyatt Regency
  NATIONAL SPACE TROPHY DINNER
6:00 p.m. Reception begins for the National Space Trophy Dinner at the Houston Hyatt Regency, followed by dinner at 7 p.m., with the evening Program to follow.
