Stellar Awards DAY EVENTS


National Space Trophy Dinner

The dinner will be held at the downtown Houston Hyatt Regency, Friday, April 24, 2026. A reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. with dinner and Stellar Awards presentations following. This is a black tie event. You and your spouse or guest will be informed of seating assignments when you arrive.

You are invited to bring your spouse or a guest. Your organization is responsible for arranging for seating reservations at the dinner banquet, so please be sure to confirm these arrangements with your organization and complete the RSVP form to confirm your attendance.

Winners of the Stellar Awards in various categories will be announced the night of the dinner. If you are selected as a winner, you will be called forward to accept the award. You will not be asked to make a speech.

Tuxedo Rentals

Tour and Luncheon

In addition to the dinner, there is the Johnson Space Center (JSC) is hosting a tour in the morning, followed by a luncheon at Great Wolf Lodge - Houston, hosted by the RNASA Foundation. You are invited to participate in these activities. A preliminary agenda is available on this website, and will be updated prior to the event.

If you are a nominee or nominated team representative, you are invited to bring one guest to the luncheon and on the tours. The guest for the luncheon, tours, and dinner need not be the same person.

Hotel Reservations

For out of town guests making travel arrangements, the Houston Hyatt Regency will serve as the host hotel. Maps are available on the website. The hotel is offering discount rates starting at $196 per night plus applicable taxes for all guests associated with the Rotary National Award for Space Achievement (RNASA) event, for April 23 through April 26. Hotel Parking

Please note: The Houston Hyatt Regency only offers valet parking. RNASA has arranged free valet parking for gala attendees (and a $19 discount for overnight guests). RNASA cannot reimburse parking charges from other local parking lots. From Louisiana, turn left at Polk and then make an immediate right to the valet parking drop off location. Get your valet parking stickers (that will be affixed to the back of the parking ticket) when you get your table assignment at RNASA registration (at the base of the escalators).

Transportation

Buses will be provided to transport nominees and their guests from the Houston Hyatt Regency to the Johnson Space Center for the morning tour, to the luncheon venue, and then back to the Houston Hyatt Regency in the early afternoon. Those local to the Clear Lake area may board a bus at the Gilruth Center, which will proceed to the tour and back to the Gilruth Center, but buses will not be provided to and from the luncheon for the local participants. For out-of-town guests, it is assumed that your organization will arrange for any other transportation that you require.

What You Need To Do

For planning purposes, we need to know which of the events you will be able to attend. Please complete and send the RSVP form as soon as possible! The deadline for submitting your RSVP for attending the events is March 24, 2026.

As a reminder, it is your organization's responsibility to arrange for your attendance at the banquet, pay for your travel arrangements, and to provide you with time off to participate in the day's events.
