Airports

We recommend that you book your airline tickets to Hobby Airport, which is located less than 30 minutes from the Johnson Space Center and Space Center Houston, and 12 miles from the Houston Hyatt Regency hotel. If your travels take you instead to George Bush Intercontinental Airport, your driving time to the Clear Lake area may be anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the traffic, and it is located 26 miles from the hotel.

Please note: RNASA has arranged free valet parking (and a $12 discount for overnight guests) for gala attendees. From Louisiana, turn left at Polk and then make an immediate right to the valet parking drop off location. Get your valet parking stickers when you get your table assignment at RNASA registration (at the base of the escalators).

Transportation to/from Airports and Hotels

SuperShuttle: From Hobby airport to Hyatt is about $20. From Bush to Hyatt is $24. From Hobby to Nasa Hilton is about $31.

Yellow Cab: Costs about $30 from Hobby to the Hyatt, and $60 from Bush to the Hyatt.

Airport Taxi: Costs about the same as Yellow cab, but offers a 10 percent discount for people over 60.

Royal Carriage Limos: For 4 passengers, starts at $75 plus various fees.
